Questions for Discovery

When do you know that it’s time for you to discover the benefits of the martial arts? How will you know?

Here is a list of things you may be experiencing in your life.

1. I have difficulty or trouble sleeping and feeling well rested.

2. I often feel like I am in a hurry or running out of time (“Hurry-Worry Sickness”).

3. I find it difficult to find the time to exercise in a way that I know is right for me.  I would like to experience regular, enjoyable exercise in my life.

4. I feel out of shape and/or that I could be in better shape. My weight is an issue and a health concern.

5. I’d like to experience more peace of mind and well-being; less “stress.”  

6. I’d like to improve my ability to concentrate and focus.

7. I would like to feel more confident in my ability to successfully deal with stress and conflict; to turn a negative into a positive. I would like to feel prepared to prevail against a criminal assault if needed.

8. I would like to develop a style of “Conflict Resolution” that can respond to both physical and verbal attack.

9. I would like to experience greater self-confidence and improved performance.

10. I often feel tired, lethargic and experience less energy than I would like to.


If 4-6 of these “ring true” for you, then we highly recommend you find some sort of regular, enjoyable, centering, and balancing experience that feels right for you.

Martial Arts Training is a great choice. For some people, T’ai Chi, Qigong, Yoga may be good, or Aerobics, etc..
